Dear Teachers and Messengers of Kundalini Yoga,
To coincide with International Yoga Day (and the Summer Solstice), many yoga teachers and students would like to mark Sunday, June 20, 2021 with a community spirit.
Such a day is an opportunity not only to create, feel and share between us and the participants but it is also an opportunity to open up outside our ULTRA privileged reality in order to support others in need.
Participants will be able - on a voluntary basis - to offer a gesture / donation for a fundraiser for India.
In practice, the Event will take place at Parc Cinquantenaire at the Tour de Tournai.
The sessions will be 45 minutes and in silence. If you are taking part as a teacher, please note that you should be present at 09:45 at the latest.
The day starts at 9:00 am with an Ashtanga practice
10:00 - Kundalini Yoga
11:00 - Gong sound bath
11:30 - Iyengar Yoga
The full program will be unveiled shortly on the page: https://stillstandingforyoga.org/
The principle is that each Kundalini Teacher will make a small group with his/her students for guidance of the Kundalini Yoga session that will be lead by one or more teachers.
The Kriya will be sent in advance so that you are familiar with the practice.
All Gong players are welcome to bring their gongs. If possible we could make a "sound wall" with the gongs around the group. For the details, thank you for confirming your participation and we will coordinate for the implementation.
How can you contribute?
1) Save the date to be present as a teacher or a participant.
2) Communicate with your students about the event and provide the following elements:
Sunday June 20th Brussels Cinquantenaire Park, Tour de Tournai (near Schuman and Avenue des Nerviens).
From 9:00 am to 6:00 pm… and later for those wishing to join in a Kirtan chanting practice.
We look forward to seeing you again in the silence and vibrations of June 20.
Nav Jiwan Kaur
